The 4 pillars of the Nature park

The nature park Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen is based on 4 pillars

: Protection, relaxation, education and regional development.

The purpose of the 1st pillar "protection“ means the protection of the land by maintaining the beauty of nature.

"Relaxation" provides attractive offers for visitors to the region which brings in money to provide the financial means to protect.

The pillar "education" allows an interactive knowledge of nature by forming an interaction between people and nature. This should be done in a simple, almost playful, way.

The last pillar "regional development" represents the quality of life, its goal is to increase the value of the nature park as well as the quality
