Left? No, right! or still left?

No problem - thanks to well sign posted cycling tracks and the new Murauer mountain bike map, its almost impossible to get lost in the nature park. And if it does, for some reason, happen then just stop and enjoy the landscapes.

To experience the wonders of the nature park and all its beautiful places by bicycle, is a worthy experience.

Whether along flower lined pastures, romantic lakes or up to the stone castle ruins, you can be guaranteed lasting impressions .

Neumarkter cycling loop

The 20 km long family route goes from Neumarkt over St Marein to Mariahof and back.

Apart from the beautiful scenery one can also take in the Nature reading park in Neumarkt, the bee path in Baierdorf and the Wehrkirche in Mariahof.

Tip: Süe honey -souvenirs available in Baierdorf at Fam. Helfenschneider

Schönanger loop

For this 25km trail, good condition and endurance is required. The trail goes from the Cloister doors in St Lambrecht and directly uphill to Maria Schönanger and then further onto Zeutschach and downhill to St Blasen and back to St. Lambrecht.

Tip: Once reaching Maria Schönanger one can recover in the mountain hut or later take a dip in the refreshing lake in Zeutschach

Zirbitz cycle trail

The family trail goes over the Neumarkt railway line over Hammerl to St Veit and then further to the provincial border.

The Farmers museum and the old farmer mill in Mühlen is worth a visit, a pleasant stop at some of the guest houses is well worth the recovery.

Tip: Wonderful view of the Zirbitzkogel.
